Hannah trained as an actor at Victorian College of the Arts. She completed a degree in creative writing at Melbourne University in 2011, part of which she undertook in Mexico.
Hannah has studied and performed at The Groundlings in Los Angeles and was invited into their Writing Lab for 2015. There she also studied at The Clown School and later with Philippe Gaulier in Berlin. Hannah co-wrote and performed in web series ‘The Greatest Love of All’ which was awarded Best International web series at NY Web Fest.
She received funding to write and direct the short film ‘Living Room’ which has been nominated for a Best Direction award a the South Australia Screen Awards. She was recently accepted into a workshop with Iranian auteur Abbas Kiaorastami in Cuba where she made another short film ‘Viejo’. For 2016 Youth Week Hannah directed ‘The Ocean’ for SBS whilst mentoring a young refugee filmmaker.
Her short films have screened at festivals including Heartland, Cleveland, Malibu, St Kilda, Flickerfest, Brisbane and more and on SBS television.
She is currently writing a feature screenplay and is in post-production with her documentary ‘True North’.
